Net zero: the promises of eliminating atmospheric carbon
Drastically reducing CO2 emissions is the core of the action to mitigate climate change. In its latest report, the IPCC also focuses on the removal of atmospheric carbon (in English: Carbon Dioxide Removal): a set of methods aimed at capturing some of the carbon already emitted in the atmosphere and then storing it sustainably in carbon sinks.
What are the challenges and prospects for the development of these technologies? For what funding/regulatory needs and what economic models?
In partnership with Léonard and Marble, this conference aims to decipher the methods of removing atmospheric carbon and the role that these will have to play in the fight against climate change.
