Financing innovation

In his script Net-Zero By 2050, the IEA predicts that 50% of the decreases in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 will come from technologies that are still in the development stage today. The role of innovation will therefore be paramount in the context of our fight against climate change. Financing adapted to the importance of the challenges is essential in order to allow the emergence and rapid dissemination of these technologies.

There is already a real need to accelerate the financing of innovation, and to direct investments to the most promising technologies and the regions of the world that will be most affected by climate change.

CIR, CICO, CII, JEI... calls for regional, national, European projects... How do you deal with the multiplication and complexity of financing arrangements? How can these mechanisms be better articulated and a comprehensive financing strategy defined from the start of a project?

Hugo Charbonnier, Innovation Project Director at Dynergie will come and talk to us about the challenges of financing innovation, a real key success factor for businesses and entrepreneurs! It will help us to understand the mechanisms for financing innovation (and their relationships) in order to define a comprehensive financing strategy.

Indeed, in recent years, funding for innovation has multiplied and become more complex. Articulating these devices represents an additional difficulty for entrepreneurs or companies that often focus on techno-products and fundraising. Nowadays, understanding financing mechanisms and their coordination, in order to define a comprehensive financing strategy from the start of a project (integrating dilutive AND non-dilutive funding) is a key factor in success.
